Medwell Welcomes Dr. Christopher Bonsignore, an Orthopedic Neurosurgeon to the Team

Dr. Christopher Bonsignore, has joined the team of physicians at Medwell as Head of Orthopedic Care in the Bergen County Office to help provide a nonsurgical approach to the orthopedic problems that many people face today.  Dr. Bonsignore is an osteopathic physician. He will provide nonsurgical orthopedic care and assessments for sciatic, spine, knee, shoulder and leg pain.

With over 10 years as a neurosurgeon, Dr. Bonsignore says that he has dealt with many surgeries where it may not have been the best option for the patient.

Dr. Bonsignore stated, "According to the Journal of Pain Research, 74.6% of back surgeries fail, and 30% of knee surgeries. There is actually a medical diagnosis "Failed Back Surgery Syndrome", because it is so common."
